Calling all leaders
Don’t forget that the Training Day is coming up very soon – it’s on the morning of Saturday 27th June 2015 at Morden Park Baptist Church on Lower Morden Lane, starting at 9.30am. It’ll be a great chance to meet together, to prepare and to pray for the Holiday Club. 
And it’ll be time to start lighting the candles on the birthday cake, too… there’ll be forty of them this year! Back in 1976, MPHC was formed to share the good news of Jesus with children in the Morden area, over the summer holidays. In 2015, the Holiday Club is entering its fortieth year, and it’s still going strong, even if the personnel have changed a bit over the last four decades…
At the Training Day, we’ll be going through what happens on a regular day at Holiday Club, and saying a little bit more about the snowy and icy theme for this year (clue: we wonder what the groups might be called?) If you’re a leader, come along ready to contribute, to learn, and to pray for the work of the Holiday Club this year. It’ll be great to see you there!
